Blonde Antithesis

Peace…and a ruby red fainting couch

All this and a front porch too…

So, “Happy Wednesday” is over….

…seriously.

But, there are still things to be happy about on a Thursday…hmm, “like what?” you say.

Well, there are things like: (Keep in mind this is my list - yours would, no doubt, be different…)

  • I have nothing left to pack, throw away and or “go through” (code for: agonize over until I finally leave the room and tell Byron to do what he must, and he throws it all away) at my old house.
  • I found my Starbucks to be especially wonderful this morning…maybe because I knew I was going to earn every sip
  • I listened to “talk radio” while I worked…something I used to do every day - it was fun to engage my brain like that again.
  • I’m totally exhausted and just want to go to bed….and it’s only 5 - and I don’t have to do anything else tonight.
  • Thank goodness for take-out.
  • The boys got to go home with Grandma and Grandpa and watch “The Chronicles of Narnia”…thank goodness for grandparents.
  • Barry helped us get it all done…thank goodness for friends.
  • I’m looking forward to Thursday night t.v. even more than normal since I don’t have the energy to do anything else…thank goodness for “The Office”.
  • Professional cleaners are going to make my old house sparkle tomorrow…thank goodness for - well, anyone cleaning that place BUT ME!!!!!! Whoo-hooo!!!!
  • Did I say thank goodness for take-out?
  • I probably should just have butternut squash soup and a spinach salad…as if!!!
  • I’m really looking forward to the Food Drop tomorrow - I wish we could do something like that every week…hmm, sounds like a dream to me…and very C3!

Anyway, that’s all I can think of so far…I’m really too tired to think straight.

  • Oh yeah, and thank goodness for Advil…

I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the Food Drop

Peace out!
